My principal place of residence is not in the Ng� Tai o Tokerau M�ori Ward area. He uri t�nei n� ng� iwi o Te Aupouri, Ng�ti Kahu, Te Rarawa me Ng�puhi. I tupu ake i roto Te P� o te Wheke, Kaikohe. I'm standing for one of four seats in Ng� Tai o Tokerau M�ori Ward. Consciously, I declare my commitment to te takiw� � Kaikohe-Hokianga. However, I am also aware that should I be successful with one of the four seats it will indeed be a privilege to represent Ng� Tai o Tokerau M�ori. I see my role is to participate in council and other forums that may have impact on our economic, taiao, transport, housing, recreational and community wellbeing and ensure a M�ori lens is visible in the outcome. Source: FNDC I'm seeking re-election as Councillor for Tai Tokerau M?ori Ward (4 seats) in 2025 Triennial. I also support the re-election of fellow M?ori Ward Councillors. I believe trienniums should be four years not three. Performance of the Board can be measured farely against district and annual plans set by them rather than those set in previous triennial. This current Board has completed the 2025-26 Annual Plan, begun spatial planning process for Tai Tokerau. We work closely with Central Government in anticipation of announcements they make that may impact on our projects or planning. My continued attention includes: House - elderly and homeless, resource and building consents, rates; Cycle + Walkways - between Horeke and Opua, possibility to extend; Facilities - halls, sport grounds and clubrooms, pools, libraries and parks; Relationships - communities, educational settings, marae, business associations, hap?, Community Boards, Takiwa, Iwi, Local/Central Government.
