T?n? koutou katoa Standing for Te Raki Ward continues my dedication to empowering and building resilient communities and protecting our environment. Te Raki is my home and I've long been a servant of the wh?nau, hap? and iwi. I am committed to M?ori-led solutions, independence and self-reliance. It's time for bold and trusted M?ori leadership and making solid mokopuna decisions when managing our resources. A key goal of mine is to protect and enhance our waters. Water is life, it's our identity! I have proven governance experience including Chair of the Waitangi National Trust. I always foster team work, action and results. I know well the machinery of Council having worked as part of Te Ruarangi working party for eleven years, whilst being co-chair. We have passionate kaitiaki throughout Te Raki.
