• The Tai Tokerau Māori economy sees Māori income per capita at the least the same as non Māori in the region.

• Actively lead growth in the sectors where Iwi/hapū and whānau have a significant interest and competitive advantage as well as other sectors for potential growth:

  • Forestry, aquaculture, horticulture, apiculture

  • Education, health, housing and social services

  • Tourism, technology and telecommunications

  • Rongoā Māori

• An economy where there are viable and sustainable career and business opportunities wherever our whānau wish to live.

• Real growth in and balanced profile of, Iwi asset portfolios with clear line of sight of benefit back to Iwi whānau.
