On Tuesday 18th April, Te Tai Tokerau Iwi Māori Board Chairs and CEO's of Te Kahu o Taonui gathered kanohi ki te kanohi for the first time since the start of the pandemic in 2020.
What a difference time makes! And who turned the lights out? A powercut was a great start!
Te Hā Oranga o Ngāti Whātua opened their doors to host the hui in Whangārei with attendance from 11 Iwi.
A great day of whanaungatanga, whakawhitiwhiti kōrero and opportunities to collectively consider and address challenges and opportunities on behalf of whānau, hapū and Iwi across Te Tai Tokerau.
