The National Māori Housing Conference is a Biennial Event held throughout Aotearoa to provide an opportunity for the regions to showcase their leadership and contribution to the “housing space” that is unique to Māori.

This is a platform for exchange, built on the understanding that a forward-focused view is key to improving Māori housing outcomes. Tangata Whenua, Ministers, Agency officials, and representatives from regional, community and the private sector came together to add strategic value to the Māori housing sector.

It was announced that Tai Tokerau will host the next conference and proposed that Te Kahu o Taonui as Te Taitokerau Iwi Collective tono and receive the Mauri to host the next National Māori Housing Conference in 2025.

Looking forward to hosting the next conference! Watch this space!
